I got a coupon in the mail last night for a $750 gift card to Cabelas or Home Depot when you take delivery of a Super Duty between now and July… I happen to have an 08 F350 on order… Bottom line: X-Plan + $1000 owner loyalty + $750 gift card = Big ole smile on my face!

Got one in the mail yesterday, too. It's from ford. Might be a result of messing around on Fords site building & saving trucks.

I don't know about a promo code. The coupon says this:

"Note to dealer: Claim offer in the VINCENT On-Line Claim System using the applicable program number and the 11-digit number above the customer's name."

It is nontransferable outside of the household. Customer must take delivery between 5/2/2007 and 7/2/2007. This offer is in addition to all other publically available FMC retail offers in effect a the time of purchase. A, Z, and D plan sales are not eligible. Allow 8-10 weeks for delivery of your gift card.

That is pretty cool. And I am grateful for it, but.... would be great to get a gift card to use toward a purchase of a hitch(got to check if Cabelas carries fifth wheel hitches), hope the wife doesn't find this coupon first, cause that sounds like another home improvement project if used at Home Depot.

Is this advertized anywhere? I did not see anything on the Ford site about it. Also, what happens if you order one and it does not arrive by 7/2/07? Do you still get the incentive?

This is a believe it when I see it type deal. It looks like both the people that got the coupon has yet to purchase a truck. It looks like something that has to be used at the time of purchase, and then they mail the gift card.

The details on the coupon are as Florit Described...

I have not seen the offer anywhere else... I can only guess that the coupon is being sent to previous Super Duty owners and perhaps others who may have provided their address in information requests from Ford or the Dealership.

I just got the call today and my 08 will be in tomorrow. I will submit the coupon and let you know how it goes. According to the coupon it takes 8-10 weeks to get the gift card.

The coupon states specifically that you must take delivery before 7/2/07. Dont know if the dealer can pull strings...

NOTE: It only took 4 weeks to get the new Truck...

I'm still waiting for my $750 Cabela's gift certificate from the purchase of my 04 truck!

The myford.com people said I was "still on the list" two years ago.

kinda sucks you get limited to two locations.... I'd prefer to just get the $750 off my truck!

My dealer wanted the truck in April numbers. He filled it out for April 30. However, my truck was delivered and paid for on Saturday the 5 th of May. I wonder where that leaves me? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Sounds like I'd have to have a chat with the dealer.

BTW, I got a coupon mailer too.

I recieved one in the mail too. Just happens I had a F350 on order and I just took delivery on it May 17 so I will be getting a Cabelas card in a couple months. On my last ordered truck in 2004 they sent the same coupon out and I recieved a $750 Cabelas card then. Just kind of dumb luck I recieved the cards right before delivery.

I don't understand why Ford doesn't publicize this stuff on their website as an "incentive". Seems like we shouldn't have to hear this stuff "through the grapevine" or be surprised (pleasantly, however) later on by receiving a check/gift certificate in the mail.

Well, they do publicize these offers...in a way. The reason that I received my mailer is that I signed up for "more information" on the Super Duty web site. I'm assuming the same is true of everyone else that got the new offer too.

Just as a rule of thumb, any product that I'm interested in and I visit their web site, I ALWAYS sign up so that I know that they have all my information and know that I'm interested in what they're selling.
