Just finishing up my clutch job and I changed oil in the trannie,
transfer case and I couldn't find any plugs on the rear differential.
What am I missing here? It's been a long day and I'm tired so I could have missed something obvious /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

If it is a stock rear-end, there should be a very obvious pipe-plug sticking out of the rear cover.

Sometimes, a plug will be located in the pinion end of the housing, between the reinforcing webs, but not on these trucks that I ever saw.

Both of my 10.25's had the drain plug on the d-side forward on the pinion housing.

Found it, where sle2115 said, thanks!
It's the kind of plug that you stick a 3/8" ratchet or extension in,
square hole, I was looking for something square sticking OUT, like the 2 on the T-19 and the 2 on the transfer case.
The hole was almost filled with mud, hard to see.
My 84 with a Dana had a plug in the rear cover.
Thanks guys
