87 6.9 Hard starting

For the past few days my truck [87 f250] has been giving me a fit in the morning.I even ran the batt.s down one time!I had the intake gaskets replaced a while back, after that for some reason the wait to start light quit working. What i've been doing is cycling the plugs by waitng for the clicking sound under the hood[I do this twice]she usually fires up!After i get it going it'll be fine all day.I have noticed that lately when i start the truck almost every time it stumbles a little.
I have checked the fuel lines and yesterday i replaced the rubber
hoses between the injectors. They were in bad shape, but still have the problem. It seems like its turning over good,i had the batt.s checked and they are fine.
Thanks in advance for any help!!

sounds like a fuel system leak
probably the orings under the return line caps (plastic t's on top of your injectors -- between the lines you just replaced)

they should be replaced all together (t's o-rings and lines)
get a kit (around $30)
do a search, there are links in several old posts to places to buy them

some people use an electric fuel pump to "presuarize the system" forcing the air out, before starting
the holey red pump seemes to be the most popular

solved my hard start problems
and the puddle of fuel on the valley pan

l'm not quite sure what you mean about the glow plugs, but be careful not to cycle them too long -- burns them out sometimes warping them and getting the m stuck in the head, or causing them to drop their tips (into the cylinder !BAD!)
