Hey guys not much of a Van guy but I have stumbled onto one that might be a good deal and looking to see what you think it would be worth. Its a 93 E-350 cargo van, 7.3 diesel and an E4OD with 236,000 miles on it. It runs and drives well but the body is pretty beat up. Lots of dents and some rust but not holes. It was a service van for an electrical contractor. Assuming the SCA's and maintence has been prety good what do you think its worth. KBB in fair condition puts it around $1,600. Do you think thats a good ball park? I am looking resell or part it out to make some money on it.

Yes its an IDI. It might make a good investment to get my biodiesel processor up and running and maybe a few upgrades to the 97. though I should probably just pya some bills but that ain't any fun!

Well I got it started today. Just needed a little jump. Start with just a bit of start up smoke as it been sitting for a few months and drove very well. Nice power and smooth shifting. No wobbles or pulsations from the brakes. Engine was full of oil, tranny fluid looked good and the coolant SCA levels were perfect. Seem to have been maintained well. It just a michigan work van though. A/C didn't work but oh well. I think I am gonna buy it and see what happens. Any opinions out there as to why I shouldn't?

How much?
Depending on your state. You have to watchout for title. Could hurt the flip. Some states. A certain amount of miles changes the title.
Example--Mileage past mechanical limits. Just a thought.

Well I bought it! The title should be ok. its not over the mechanical limits of the ODO so I just have to pay the tax on what I paid for it. I have it listed in the classified ads here. I will have pics and walk around video of it hopefully this Sunday.
