Gathering information on the swap and now I have run into the problem of the speedometer. I'm swapping the zf5, driveshaft, and rearend from the '94 to the '85. The '85 has a cable driven speedo from the tailhousing of the transmission, the '94 has an electric speedo driven from a sensor on the rear axle. I need to know what it will take to swap the speedo from the 94 to the 85. I.E.(is there any computers that the 94 speedo wiring go through? Has anyone done the swap? What do I need to change from the 94 to the 85 to swap the speedos?) Thanks in advanced :icon_confused:

I would have to say take the truck to a local shop that calibrates speedometers and changes the drive gear for the cable driven sensor in the tranny
