my truck started smokin and has been getting a lot worse. so i put a obd2 reader on it and it said bad oil temp sensor (not sure if that would cause any problems?) a guy told me injectors! so i pulled the exaust manifold and found a wet hole (2nd one back on driver side) So i pulled the injector out and when undoing the bottom bolt it was loose like a full turn, and then i check them all on the driver side and they were all loose! so i got the injector out and found no copper washer at the end of injector! and carbon all the way up to the bottom o-ring. put an o-ring kit with the washer, and still smokin... any info would be amazing if ya wanna give me a call that would be better 1-250-442-6631 or leave me your number and ill make the call thanks. morgan

you'll have more than 1 injector screwed up that way, I would do all the rest as well.

it has a possibility to do so with them bouncing around. I would just do all the injectors with a o-ring kit and new coppers. If problems persist then its time for upgrades...

Make sure to torque them right or just get new hold down bolts there fairly cheap, and the torque is 120 inch lbs

if it keeps smoking then you have a major problem adn at some point it will toast the motor, non or mis-funtioning injectors are really bad.

thanks for the info guys. when the o-ring kit gets here ill let you know how she is doing. hoping like hell this fixes it. and i have not been driving it around its been parked since it started smokin bad hope i didnt run it to long

replaced injectors with used ones and new o-rings and she is running good, drove her 500 km right after i fixed her. but i did find one smashed up copper washer it was in peices! what would cause the injectors this?
