Ok so just made it to get new batteries today. Put them in and she fired right up no problem. Thank you bug man for all of your help. And thank you to the others who have added to the thread.

Good to hear.

Now take your volt meter and check the charging voltage after the glow plugs turn off.

If my memory serves me right you should see 14.5 volts or something close.

But it will take a few minutes to come up after a start, particularly if glow plugs on was prolonged. Voltage eventually will be higher in colder weather
