EXCEPT

the "valet" and the "high position" positions seem to be reversed
in the valet position the truck runs like stock
in the high position the truck falls on it's face at approx 60ish mph

Is the chip new? Need more details. The chips are ECM code specific.

The chip is brand new and labeled for this year and model ford diesel.
It seems like it has 1.)high idle, 2.) stock, 3.) 50 hp, 4.) 75 hp, 5.) 100 hp, 6.) the truck takes off good up to 30mph and then just bogs down and won't accelerate over that when turned back to the 5th
position it seems to run fine otherwise. Could the positions somehow have been reversed?

Thanks for your input.

Make sure you clean the contacts real good with some scotch brite before you re-install. There is a clear coating over the contacts inside the ECM that need to be gently scraped clean. Otherwise a good connection will not be made.

Look at the flip switch and see if there is a silver washer under the nut that has a tit on it this tit has to be in the correct square hole to work correctly check your instruction again if the switch is like most they tell you which hole to have the little tit in.. Burle
