I need to replace the two rear door lock actuators and have found the original parts new for $290-$346. I can't find any at junk yards nearby. Does anyone know of a less expensive replacement part that is easily adapted or is a kit for several models? I know ebay has some but had bad luck with a few parts from there so am not so trusting.

Ok here is what I did, if you look up the ones for the bronco they are basically the same thing you just need to unscrew your rod for your truck and screw it in to the new ones... I ordered 2 for about 36.00 or so off Amazon and they work great plug and play I had the same issue they are way too expensive I'll see if I can find the link

Jdawg, I'll ceck out the Bronco ones and the Dorman part 746159.
Steve83, Appologies for not thinking that info was important.
My part num. is E7TS-3526594-AA
I found them at Ford parts online for $346 and at Oreilly's at $290.
I'll try to edit my profile. My general location is east bay San Francisco.
Profiles make me nervous and I am not good at finding my way through them.
Before I posted here I tried to go through the Doorman web site and just did not do well but will try Google.

The Dorman part looks like a different connector. It is also what I get looking for Bronco parts.
My original part is in attached image WP_20161122 the Dorman is the other one.
FYI, the dorman site says 746-156 "Does not fit" my truck.
Does anyone know if the Dorman part will accept my connector and pop into the door mount off of my old actuator and then accept my old rod to make the correct length?

Wow...

I would never have guessed that Ford was still using those old motors in the CC rear doors. But I've added it to this caption:



It's easy to swap the connector so you can install the newer-style motors in your rear doors.
