My '99 obviously does not have any type of headrest for rear seat passengers, just a nice big piece of glass.

Anyone solve this issue?

I did a search but couldnt find.

Ya know.... Back in the day, I won't say which day, you used to be able to buy pillows that suction cupped to the rear window. I think they had a the KC Daylighter logo on it ("KC"). That would work as a temp (read: easy) upgrade.

Anyone know where to find such a thing??

My buddy bought another front seat for his '99 and installed it in the back. He picked it up cheap from from someone else who put after-markets in the front.

Is that an easy swap? I would think you would have to fab up the brackets. Will a later models rear crew cab seat fit the '99? I would like to be able to fold the rear seat up like on the newer models.

From what he told me, bolted right in with no mods. I've been looking around for a front seat to do mine but the kids are still young and I don't need it quite yet.
