The PO must have had a belt slip off the comp. The plug is worn through from rubbing. Anyway, it has worked, but it's in bad shape and is getting intermittent.

Can I get another plug somewhere? The female plug with 2 prongs on top of the compressor just behind the belt...

That would be the clutch engagement plug. I would take a look at the Motormite (HELP) or Dorman racks, we used to carry most of them in the parts store, as it was fairly common fail item, usually taken out by a belt.

Standard Ignition made a bunch of them as well, might be under the 4 Seasons name, but will generally not be displayed on the wall and may not be a stocking item. My warehouses could always get one to me the next day or sometimes even the same day.

or go by your friendly junk yard--same plug on a lot of ford products--
