Last summer I had to replace my clutch on my a/c compressor - When I was done I checked the pressures and they were good - Now I noticed last weekend my A/c wasn't blowing very cold (I live in Arizona)compressor kicking off and on. I put the gauges on and it is low, I jumped the low pressure switch to get an accurate pressure reading. (150 high and 20 low) 65 degrees out at the time. So I figured one of the Schrader valves leaked a little from last time. I tried to add a can of freon and it won't go in! I thought maybe something was wrong with my can tap or gauges. I disconnected the gauges and opened the low side valve and freon came out the low side hose fine. Any ideas why my truck won't take the freon?
