I have two probs with my A/C.... It only blows out of the defrost vents, and sometimes its cold and then it gets hot. IM guessing im low on freon so i should be able to take care of that. Ive checked all my vaccume lines and they are good. But shouldnt i be able to hear the air pump running up in the RF fender? Or does it come on and shut off whenever it needs to? If so its not working. Do those things go out often? or maybe there is a fuse i need to check?

Not sure about the hot/cold issue, but if it only blows out of the defrost vent, then you have a vacuum problem. Check vacuum hose at 4X4 hubs and vacuum lines under the glove box. Could also be vacuum pump or solanoid.
