This morning I picked up my truck from where it's been stored for the last several months. I thought about replacing the fuel filter, but figured I'd deal with it this afternoon, since it was just 15 miles to work (and I was running a little late).

A mile from work, the fuel filter SPRUNG A LEAK, squirting fuel right onto the engine! Luckily, it's a Diesel (if it was a gasser, I would probably have had a fire), but the next time I think about stopping for a fuel filter, I'M GOING TO DO IT!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif
