Helpful information...
I've had this issue twice now. Over a long period of time and could not find any associated issues.
Happened as a result of letting the truck ideal a long time with AC running while loading brush in hot wheather.

Fuse #24 10amp under dash below steering column.

No need to replace the entire compressor. You can replace just the clutch. That way you don't have to evacuate the refrigerant and refill.
