Was backing a boat into the lake. Water was a little low had to go in a ways. Not over the top of the axle. now the abs light is on. Checked the fuse. Is there a sensor that i could have fried. Thanks Corey

on my 1999's there is a sensor on the top dirvers side of the differential- I had to replace it on both my F250 and F53 Motorhome at about 45-50k miles

Sounds like you got the connections to the VSS on top of the differential wet by water splashing as you went into/outof the water. I'd try disconnecting and drying off the connections. You might need a new VSS (about $20 or less at a NAPA store).

I am in agreement that it sounds like it got wet,, (Though it should be able to tolerate that,,, um we do drive in the rain,,right?) If you didnt submerge it,,the splashing SHOULDNT have hurt it,, Maybe it is just a coincidence anyway, For 20.00 I would replace it. I had to on my 99 when I first got it.
