adding 2008-11 Tailgate & backup camera??

I'm looking to put a 2008-11 tailgate w/ backup camera. It looks like I may just buy the tailgate without the camera and add it on. So far the parts list I have compiled is the following:

mirror........8u5a-17e678 ee
wire harness .....9l3z-14335-jb
camera...9c3z-19g490-e
and tailgate handle to hold camera...8l3z-9943400-ac

Anybody have any leads on places other than Ebay or the Dealer to get this stuff. Also wanted to know if the step ladder gadget can be added on to a tailgate that did not come with it. I have not really had a chance to check them out to see if I would like it or not but it might be helpful in getting into the bed of my truck.

After reading many negative reviews about the tailgate with the built in ladder step and not being able to get over the sticker shock of even a used one, I went ahead and purchased a plain jane 2009 Super Duty Tailgate. I dropped it off today to get painted to match my truck. I will buy the backup cam and mirror and just add them later.

For those that may be looking to add the 2008-2011 tail gate to their ride you may want to check with places that sell and install flatbeds/utility beds. I had been searching Craigslist/Ebay everyday and seemed to always come up a day late and a dollar short. The place I bought mine had several to choose from and they were reasonably priced.

I'd suggest looking at the AMP Bed Step as an alternative to the built-in ladder step. I got one from Amazon and have been exceedingly happy with it: AMP Research 75303-01A Bedstep for Ford Super Duty F-250/F-350/F-450 1999-2010

Installs easily, and unlike the built-in, you can use it with the tailgate either up or down.

Thanks. After researching last night that is exactly the one I am now looking at. I found it here 2002 Ford F350 AMP Research BedStep | Folding Truck Bed Step | RealTruck.com for $231.53 with free shipping but I will check out Amazon too.
