As Fat Diesel suggested, I have a BrakeSmart brake controller and it shows the voltage and amperage going to the trailer. So I can monitor system voltage without a dedicated gauge. Before that I had the ghetto version, a LCD digital voltmeter (less than $10 from AutoZone) that plugged into the powerpoint. I think GaryT has a pic of one in his webshots.
Adding a volt meter... looking for some suggestions...
I want to add a voltmeter to truck. Seems funny there is not one from the factory but that just gives me a chance to add some stuff.. so.. any suggestions as to where and what cable i should hook into? I was going to get a new 4 pod piller mount for it... has anyone done this already?
