Welcome to The Diesel Stop

If your asking questions about a truck with an IDI engine then there is a specific forum for those. Hopefully the Moderators will see this and move it for more exposure.

What do you mean by adding stakes? If it's a factory turbo set up then the downpipe is the "smashed" one and changing the outlet and DP will help lots. there are a couple of different "cold air" set ups.Update you signature with info about the truck and it will be alot easier to answer questions.

I think he meant stacks (took a minute to figure it out). Stacks are entirely up to you but if you haven't replaced the stock turbo outlet and downpipe to a 3" downpipe your not going to see much if any performance gain. I run a single stack on mine , it just happens to be horizontal and exits under the side of the bed. Also getting rid of the plastic air inlet over the drivers battery and running a 4" duct to the front will help.

Before we can answer your questions better, could you update your signature. Go to your "control panel" and then edit signature. You need to put things like year, size, engine, auto or manual trans, 2WD or 4X4 etc. Miles on the truck would help. The vibrations you feel could be different things based on what type of drive line you have.
