I have one and love it. Make sure that you understand that digital gauges are a little harder to read than an analog gauge with just a glance.
I have been super happy using it as a supplemental gauge in my truck. Having it to monitor various parameters including fuel & oil pressure with added sensors makes it well rounded.

Yes, it is an aftermarket mount for a single gauge.
