I didn't like the idea of mounting the filter off the airbox and mounted mine behind the drivers front wheel. There is a pocket formed there just behind the wheel well that provides awesome protection. I used two heavy duty gas ball valves, which make changing filters a breeze. You can mount the filter anywhere.
AFE 2 Intake and coolant filter do NOT WORK TOGETHER!!!
Has anybody else run into this?
Purchased the coolant filter kit and AFE 2 intake kit but they don't compliment each other; before I go drilling into the airbox what has everyone else done to combat this problem?
