Well I see some cracking and swelling on the original degas tank and I think it's time to get a new one. Not wanting to buy an aluminum one for 300$ I was looking at the dorman one for around 50$. Anyone had good or bad luck with these? Or any suggestions would be helpful. I see OEM going for around 130$. Not apposed to going that route if needed, I did get 144,000 out of the original. Thanks for your input friends.

I just put a Dorman into my 96. It looks quite sturdy and just as good as the original.

The only difference was the sticker was placed upside down from the factory one

I got mine from RocAuto

Don’t know if it was a Dorman or what, I got my replacement degas tank from White Bear Ford/Auto Nation Ford for a reasonable price.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ford sources some of their parts from the same place that Dorman does.
The one FleetMan got from Autonation Ford WBL was probably a "genuine" Ford part.
