I have installed the Parts Express locks and they worked great. Now, all of a sudden, all but the drivers door quit! At the same time. They worked fine for two or three months. Is there a relay or something that would affect the other three doors? TIA, Rob

I don't believe so, I think the relay controls all 4. I know this is not what you want to hear but this is why I recommend the use of the factory actuators.

If this is with the factory VSM system, you may have a problem with the VSM itself, or a relay like you said. Think about it, when you press the unlock button once, driver door unlocks. Second time unlocks all four. So my theroy is that it has two seprate relays or contacts. One to actuate the drivers, and the other to actuate all four.

your best bet is to mete the wires in one of the doors that wont work. if you have power there, then the problem is in the motors. the bad part is those motors only cost a few dollars each, but you get what you pay for. send a little more and get a better motor.........

Back when I was lookin' into my factory locks not working I saw no negative comments about the Parts Express actuators. Where is the VSM located? It is hard to believe all three door locks would quite at the exact same time.
