Does anybody make one?? I have a Lariat so it has the Computer up in there which a like but I do not like the two little compartments. Especially the doors on them. One of mine has a broken latch so it keeps falling off and I don't even use the other one. It just seems like there could be a better use for that space. Like to mount a CB, XM, Radar detector or something... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

Get one from a 2000 model, mine has no doors just a small cubby hole that is nice to put stuff in.

I'd like to know, also. I just bought a 2003 F250, and both doors were broken off. There was a spare door in the center console, so I proceeded to remove the overhead by pulling it down *gently*. Evidently, it still wasn't gentle enough and I broke off 3 of the 4 plastic tabs that hold the console up, so now I have an ugly overhead console frame showing, and no way to cover it up other than buying a new console from the dealer. If I had the talent, I'd make one myself, but I'm not that skilled. By the time I got it right I'd probably have spent enough to replace 3 consoles.

yes, many on this forum have done it, you need to buy the console and the wiring harness. I see the comsoles on Ebay all the time.
