Hey guys new here but not to Excursions as I've had mine for over a year now. 2005 EB fully optioned out except for the wheels. I am looking for a new set of wheels and tires and found some Jesse James wheels I really like in 18x10 and would like to use Nitto Terra's on them size 275/70/18. how does this sizing sound and will it effect ride quality, tire wear, or the odometer in the truck? will I need to add a tuner to recalibrate for the bigger wheels?

so what size and width of tires are you guys using on an 18 inch rim without rubbing or bad handling issues? I want to get the widest possible tire to give the EX a little more aggressive stance than the stock 16 inch bicycle tires do but don't want the handling to suffer as a result..

these are 20X9.5 and they will rub a little on the leafs at full lock but they look fantastic I think..the ride is fantastic as well, although I do have V codes on the front and F codes on the rear..

I have been wanting to put 37" tires ( on 20" or 22" X 10" to 12" wide rims ) on my 05 X. I don't want to lift it any more than absolutely possible. I don't think lifting it helps clear the springs ..... just the bodywork. I am willing to have fender work done for both clearance and coverage as there are no flares that will do the trick by themselves. Has anyone tried this before or have experience with the X in this area? Any help would be appreciated.
