do I go abouts sparky and bazs page for the mod or can I do it without the resisters and ebrake wire, mine is not opperative.

you do not NEED to use the ebrake as a ground, yours may not work. You can connected direct to a ground and it will work the same, the ebrake is figured in as a safety so you dont drive away with it idled up.

If your brake light on the dash does not light, then the ebrake wire is not grounded. You do however need the resistors because if you dont, it will idle reallly high, possibly pegged.

Just follow baz's instructions and it will work.
