Why should I do this?
What are the Pros and Cons?
How do I plug the hole it would leave?

The plug and code eliminator are in. Easy install. I think it would be easier to hook the code eliminator to the ground that the AIH was hooked to but since the ring connector was too small I went ahead a followed the directions and hooked it where Blackcloud said to.

? for Blackcloud Diesel:
Is there a reason for the different location?
(Just curious)

Hoss,
My error has been edited. Thanks for calling to my attention.
(I had turbo on my mind because thats what the loose change was my driver was talking about. Several decent sized pieces of turbo fin.) Needles to say it cost more than loose change to fix it.

WOW!!

I didn't realize my simple little ?,s would cause all this.

I now have the plug and eliminator from Black Cloud and will install soon. Regardless of weather it improves anything, I just don't like the idea of any one of the metal parts on that heater possibly going through my motor (CLANK!!) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sick.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/vomit.gif.

I will never forget once when one of my ?drivers? called up and said "I think there is something wrong it sounds like there is loose change in the engine, here listen to this." /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/vomit.gif
