Air Bag Disconnect.....how do I do it?

I need to temporarily disconnect my driver and passenger airbags. I do not have a disconnect in the glove box and even if I did it would only disconnect the passenger one.

Can I simply pull the fuse? Anyone see a problem with this? Is there only one fuse or does each bag have its' own?

Thanks,

Should be just one fuse. #2.26 10A

Wondering why you would need to disable your air bags. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

This isn't a system that the uninitiated should be messing with.

To pull the Air bags and not get a light you need to install a Air bag shunt.... A 1/2 watt 2 ohm resister will fool the air bag module....

I'm not concerned about about a light, this is a temporary solution to a minor problem. Fuse would go back in as soon as trip is over.

Yank the fuse... I disconnect them as part of my Job... that is how I know how to do it.
