Ok so heres my deal i bout this truck (01 f350 7.3 PSD) it has an air aid air filter kit. Its in desperate need of a new filter the one on it is pretty tore up but i dont want to spend $100 bucks on an air filter. Anybody got any ideas on what other filter will fit? It clamps on a 6 inch tube and probably 10"-12" long offset oval. It sits in a box pretty close to the battery so i think it still needs to be oval cone shaped.

I have read good things about the air aid filters but do not have first hand experience.

The 6637 element is much too big and much noisier.

It looks like Amazon has the best pricing on air aid filter elements.

yeah ive been searching for hours looks like ill just have to break down and buy one thanks.
