Has anybody else installed an Airdog on their 6.0?
I just did, and I wonder whether it will be as effective there as it is on my 7.3. The 7.3 had a mixing chamber in the tank, which I removed. The 6.0 has a mixing chamber (or some sort of mixing device) integral with the OEM pump.
Does this pump/mixer unit produce or release entrained air? Will the airdog's efforts be futile?
Should I consider re-routing the fuel return line from the bowl on the engine so that it by-passes the OEM pump and goes straight back to the tank?
Here is my full report on the installation, if you are interested in that sort of thing. Sorry, I didn't take pictures of the interesting stuff.
