I have an F350 SD diesel crew cab that I just bought. It shows all 4 doors as ajar all the time and the dome lights are on all the time. I tried the WD-40 and I even replaced the drivers side switch, but it did not change anything. I could not find a break in the drivers door wire at all either. I have searched, googled, prayed, and dreamed about it, but I can not find what is wrong. I believe the GEM is part of the fuse box on this truck, so I am not sure about that going bad. I am not sure where all the door sensor wires go once they enter the truck, I could not follow the drivers door ones. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, I have an update. When the Vehicle is off, I can a hear whistling/ humming sound coming from up by the firewall. It does not stop. If I disconnect the battery, it stops. When I reconnect the battery, it is not there. No parasitic drain when the sound is gone. Can't check for drain with sound happening, because I have to disconnect battery.

I pulled the "cluster" fuse (#26) and sound stops. When I do that, there is a linkage by the firewall that seems to relax and move from 90 degrees to about 45 toward the firewall. Throttle linkage maybe? When I replace the fuse, the sound is gone until the truck is started and turned back off.

First; to have all the door ajars sensors activated the main ground wire must be open? It is a Black with a Violet strip. My guess is it is close to the SJB on a 2010.

Second I don't have my 2008 any more so I'm not sure what linkage you are talking about, but the noise might be the vaccuum pump.

I brought it into the shop and they had to replace the Smart Junction Box. That fixed the door ajar and dome light issues. I also had a TPS sensor out. All that is fixed, but I still have the battery drain. I identified the humming under the hood as the 4-wire connector on the throttle body. There are 2 of them, the left one is the throttle body and the right one is the EGR valve I believe. The left one is the one making the humming (the right one does a little bit too though). The left and right are as I am looking at the engine from the front of the truck. If I pull the connector and hook it back up, the noise stops and no battery drain, or if I pull the "console" fuse and put it back, the noise stops and no battery drain. If I don't do either, the noise continues and the battery drains. My only guess is the the console is sending a signal to the throttle body when the truck is off. I am pretty sure that those connections are not tied in to the console fuse directly.

Interesting!! I'm not an expert.

Those voltages on the connector pins don't seem to match my manuals or wiring diagrams.

Look at the link below it might help you confirm what you"re looking at.
