Well. Count me in with the statistics of these radiator issues. Leaking from the same spot as the rest. Drivers side. Dealer wants $1700 and change to replace. Truck has 36,600 miles on it. Not too happy. Can't believe these haven't been recalled.

My 2011 radiator went at 48,000 ,I ran it to 100,000 and traded for a 2016. No trouble with the 16 yet. There have been a lot of failures and I agree that there should have been a recall or fix by now.

Being that close, I'd talk FordService on this website, and have them open a case for you. Ford has been known to step up for a lot of people and cover most of the repair costs. For me, my 2011 leaked at about 40K miles, and Ford paid all but $100 of the repair. I've since traded it in. My 2016 has 20K on it now, and I will be springing for the ESP coverage to 125K for about $2000. I am *planning* on having to replace my radiator. Might as well just buy the ESP to cover it, plus then anything else is gravy after that.
