Good morning Jason, I understand that you're even more busy now that you have your new toy, but I noticed that you're up to part 5 on the project truck series, however no new tech features from other sources have been added in quite some time. On May 11th, Dick Cutting requested that I send him some text and photos for some of the projects that I have done and that they would be worked into features. There were five articles in all. Do you plan to include outside articles in the future, or are you only planning to showcase the project truck series?

Steve.

I had wondered a few months back if any of these projects would be featured on some of the older trucks--you know, there still are a bunch of us out there driving pre-superduties (afterall, these trucks are designed to go for hundreds of thousands of miles)!
I'd like to see if we could solicit the sponsers to provide products for testing for some of these older trucks, afterall, we probably need the "upgrades" more, since the new superduties are "vastly" improved.
Maybe Jason could share the wealth, as could our sponsers, and make some of these test products available for review amongst us with the older trucks. I for one am interested in reading about these tested products. Consider me your first volunteer to test on my 95 PSD!

I was going to start a new post for this question, but maybe continuing this thread is the better choice. I just replaced the head gaskets, and put a Hypermax turbo on my 83' 6.9L. I documented the whole thing with nice photographs, and I want to do a "how to" article on the whole proceedure. We still get A LOT of these types of questions in the 6.9/7.3 forum, and in every case, the inquisitor has to search through tons of past articles and usually ends up with yet another new post on the subject. I want to create a diffinitive article on this subject which will be very thorough. Problem is, I don't want to do it if it is just going to lanquish in Jasons to do list for a year or more. I know someone complained to me at the rally that the article that they had done was months old, and had not been posted yet. I'd like to contribute, but I'd like the info to be timely. I'm also willing to make it a Ford-Diesel.com exclusive. However, if the prospects are not good, then I'll do it on my own web site and just direct people there everytime there is a question on this topic. I'd prefer to put it here, and bolster the sites usefullness for everyone. If the answer is yes, then I'll get it shipped off soon. I assume there is a FAQ on how Jason prefers to have articles submitted. - Mel.
