I love my truck (2006 CC), but I can't stand the noise I get from the doors when hitting bumps, etc. I've tracked down the main noise and that is the weatherstripping. When the cab/doors flex, it causes the weatherstipping to "rub" against the inner door steel/shell. This rubbing noise is driving me crazy. I've tried silicon, which worked for a while, but has since worn off. Is there any permanent fix out there?

FYI: I've heard of the weatherstripping mod, but my problem isn't that the weatherstripping isn't sealing to the door, so I don't think that'll help, but maybe it would.
