Thinking about replacing my '04 SD KR with one of the spiffy new ones. Read the forum here, didn't see if ---

Upfitters rebate still there? (Used to be $1,000)
Any other factory cash, customer loyalty, right now? Or wait for it?

I see the AQHA is still good for $500 off....

Thanks, all!

Only Ford dealerpersons have access to VINCENT. But Ford puts the current "national" incentives on the web at
http://www.fordvehicles.com/incentives/index.asp?

There may be some local or regional or "private" incentives such as AQHA that are not included there, but it should tell you the big ones available to everyone.

Right now in my region there is zero rebate on 2008 SuperDuty pickups, but some good financing rates for 4 years or less term. 5 and 6 year terms are available but the interest rate approaches my Ceidt Union rates. But warning: Gene Louder tells me that Ford Credit has clamped down on approving credit for anyone that doesn't have an excellent credit rating. He has lost several sales lately because Ford Credit wouldn't approve financing for folks with decent but not excellent credit rating. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

And word to the wise: When you are completing the delivery of your new rig, be certain your dealerperson checks VINCENT to be sure you know about all the incentives Ford offers in your area on the day of delivery.

Thanks for the link. Looks like 5.9% for 60 mos is about all there is right now, which means I'll wait a while longer. Nothing wrong with the truck that I have, either. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

When I bought the current ride my dealerperson showed neither knowledge nor incentive to hunt up offers. I brought two to his attention that he swore didn't exist, but I sat firm until he found them. Thus, I like to go in prepared.

Re: Ford Credit. That's interesting. I'm in the good-but-not-excellent bucket (excellent being over 800?) right now. I'll have to do some digging on that before I move forward.

Again, thanks!
