I bought a 1984 F250 6.9L Diesel about a year ago and want to rebuild it. I'm wondering if local users are around who can help with general recommendations as I go along.

There is a big IDI rally in Chatanooga June 30th through the July 4th holiday. That's pretty close to you if you want to meet some savy IDI owners.

You really should make the drive up to the event - you will learn more than you thought you could. Good folks, great time - I'm not going to be able to make it this year but I would highly recommend to everyone to attend. It's a great family type event...
