I saw this while I was looking for bumpers. The tires are Nitto 355/60R20s on Weld wheels. Anyone know what I'd have to do to an '04 F250 to get those wheels/tires and ride height? I realize that thing has has a lot of work, and the fenders were flared to cover the tires, but I really like how the wheels and tires fill the well. Maybe something that looks the same but not quite as wide, so I wouldn't need bodywork.

Honestly, that thing doesn't look like it has been lifted much at all, maybe 2-3 inches at most. I think the only way you could stuff that much tire is custom fender work, like they did on that truck.

i had a 98 f150 4x4 i had 345/55/17 tires on 17x10 centerline wheels with no lift. the tires were almost 14"s wide. it took me several sets of wheels and a patient sales rep where i do all my tire business. we ordered (3) 17x10 wheels w different offsets , mounted the 345/55/17 tire on each and mounted them on the front . dropped the truck to the ground and turned the wheel lock 2 lock and checked for rubbing. it seems like a lot of trouble and expense but it will reward you for your effort in the future. i had a setup that no one else had and everyone wanted . i had several people ask me what off sets i was running, i just smiled and told them it was a secret.

well i spent my time and a lot of extra money to get a UNIQUE look. something that anyone can ,could do themselves.
yes, it may sound selfish, but i don't give out certian info when its come to unique setups. my tire guy wouldn't even pass the info on to his customers. he told them , that they would have to order the extra wheels so the fitment could be checked.
they didn't want to invest the money , all they wanted was the same thing i got.

I did a few rough calculations using Adobe Photo Editor. I measured the width of my truck mirror and used the mirror in the photo to scale the tire height and width.

By the rough numbers, it appears the tires are 40" tall and 13.7" wide. The new front bumper removed a lot of the lower cowling (air dam) that would rub. I am not sure about the back, but it looks stock. The rim is 18".

So by my rough caluclations, the tires are LT350-80R18. Actually, the number worked out to 348 so it could be LT345-80R18. I know they do not make this size, so someone else may find something close.

just that it can be done , all it takes is some effort , time and $$$$$$ .
when i dropped almost $3000 on tires and wheels, i didn't want to see someone else riding around with someething i dreamed up. One reason i don't reveal some info is because some people don't appreciate the time and effort spent, not to mention the saftey factor. some people just slap a set of wheels on thier rig and don't follow up on certian saftey things.
when i added the wheels to my 98 150 , after 2 weeks i found out that the inside the tire was rubbing slightly on the upper ball joint. if i had revealed that set up to someone and they would have got injured or killed , i would have felt bad, because someone had taken my advice without following up on the saftey aspect like i do.
If i came off like i'm anal , well i probably am. i am anal over my toys , as well as some others i've seen.
I have no prolbem giving info to lend assistance for someone doing a repair or helping with something else. i just don't give out tech info that can get someone KILLED.

Dont come off like Mr. Rogers after you have been called out. Guys aren't giving you a hard time because your waving a candy bar in our faces then pulling it away saying we cant have any. The entire point of this awesome site is to bring us together, share info, learn from each others mistakes as well as mishaps. We dont just save money in the long run by learning how to fix our door lock actuators or overhead computers ourselves, but actually want to share quality info when we can. IN RETURN FOR WHAT WE HAVE RECIEVED FROM THIS SITE! This site is unbelievable. When someone reports huge numbers they've suddenly run just look at how soon they have so many posts saying congrats and way to go. Thats called commeraderie. Don't insult everyones intelligence after you arrogantly say I have something you want and I could care less, only to play the saftey card and tell tham its for their own good. Just cause guys like to play with trucks doesn't mean their idiots. You might respect money, others might respect a helping hand.

(P.S. I dont want your info, just realize what this site has given you.)

This is just two quotes from two of your posts. I think its a little late to save face.

You owe an apology to the original poster. It takes gall to post a reply like you did. Its like saying "I have the answer that you are looking for. But sorry, Im not going to tell you. Figure it out for yourself!" Then you lie about your reasons.

If you are not here to help, please go away.

Wow. Two weeks of tire rubbing and you claim to be the standard of safety? How embarrassing.

the answer as you put it was that if you look at my original post, was that it could be done, but he would have to go to some extreme measures to get it.

call me out all you want, what i run as a setup may not work for you or him or anyone else, yes i may have been a$$, i'm not gonning to tell someone something that may get them KILLED, i'm sorry, it ain't gonna happen.
what he asked was "what did he have to do to get the look of the truck he had seen". it definitly wasn't a evryday setup.
i don't have to save face guys. why, beause i have done nothing wrong.

i don't claim to be the epitome of saftey , itake extreme care of all my rides.

i agree there are a lot of guys here that are very knowledgable than i, and i do come here often to look around for tid bits of advice, which is good most of the time. you are also correct, i have got info from here and exchange techniques on how to do things. this is a great site, but its like anything else, you have to apply common sense to it and go from there.
now as far as i'm concerned, i'm done. i don't have the answer for everything, i never claime to.
