I can't believe the price this guy is asking for this seems low to me, pictures show it in good shape and complete, but say nothing about mileage / hours on the unit, if it's rebuilt, this is the steal of the century:

2001 has PM rods, but even so that price is low. It looks like its used though.

If anyone finds a complete engine in the 97-2000 range for low $ give me a buzz as I'd love to have one to tinker on.

Ours have forged rods. The 99.5+ have powdered metal rods, much weaker.

Actually 2001 models with engines after mid October 2000 have PM rods. And then there is about 50,000 of those engines after mid October 2000 that still got Forged rods when PMR supply was low.
