With those like me who have not installed the CCV mod but have done Bobs boots to eliminate the leaky problem, has anyone given any thought to installing a petcock at the bottom of the intercooler to drain any excess oil from the intercooler or to allow ease of cleaning it by leaving it in the vehicle and being able to drain it after a good cleaning? With that said also how hard is it to remove?

A good CCV mod will have a catch can and a petcock installed. After doing the CCV mod the IC system should naturally purge itself of the residual oil.
This would be a waste of time IMHO.
