since i can get autometer from where i work, i think im going to go with the ultra lites. i has a set of them in my OBS and really liked them; however, the lighting wasnt that great. as i was flipping through an AM catalog today, i noticed they sold optional LED bulbs...anyone using them?? seems like they would help. are they any better?

I noticed the same poor lighting on my Autometer intake temp gauge compared to the Di-pricol. Hope the Led's work I need something better for my tired eyes.

They are wayy too expensive. I got ITP's new and improved 5 point LEDs.

Simply awesome, very cool looking. I have the Black faced Z-series gauges and they look more than bright enough with their blue LEDs. I'll upload pics tonight.

well i went ahead and ordered the AM led's along with the ultra light pyro/boost. the dipricol optix gauges have by far the best night illumination, but i just cant justify the price of them when i got 2 AM gauges and a pod for under $200 /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smokin.gif

I have the older white faced phantoms and really wanted blue lighting. I tried sleeves, and blue incandescents and they would always fade after about a month. I recently bought some blue led 194 replacement bulbs off Ebay for about a buck a piece and they are totally awesome. Really nice blue, and they make the faces of the gauges look like indiglo's and no fading after a few months of usage. No mods needed to be done to the gauges.
