Anyone with an Extang bed cover, I need a measurement please

I have the Extang Full Tilt bed cover leftover from my old 2000 longbed, and I now have a 2011 shortbed. Looking at the rails, it appears they should be the same for the beds, just shorter. I ordered a new shortbed vinyl cover, but I do not know how much I should shorten the aluminum side rails.
I believe all of the Extang side rails should measure the same regardless of which soft cover it is, so I'm wondering if someone can measure their shortbed side rails please?
Just the side rails, NOT including the front bar or tailgate bar.
