autometer is junk. I now run ISSPro and love them. Autometer tried to shut my website down over supposed unauthorized images of their product. Well, its been taken care of, and my gauges... They went under the tire.

My boost gauge wouldn't read over 20psi, my trans temp gauge read "P" in temp all the time. my pyro worked unless there was any sort of current draw on the electrical system.

I say go with what works for you. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Well I have had good luck with AutoMeter, and though I respect MrPlow,, I guess there were other issues with him and AM. Really I would not go with the cheapo/no name brand though. I have had two sets of AM with no issues, that were not resolved. (Had a bad pyro when purchased, got another bad one, from the vendor. Seems after getting that second one, in a row. AM had a bad batch of components, (diode/resistor, ect...) They sent me a known good one ASAP with no other issues since.) I got mine from www.egauges.com..a sponsor on here, and other sponsors will treat you quite well too. (I would go isspro or AM or one of the other brands that are well known)

I'd stay away from cheap junk. You'll regret it later.
I personally like the ISSPRO gauges.
There's nothing wrong with Autometer either.
I bought the package deal here

When I researched my gauges I found Autometer to have a huge return rate of their gauges. AM makes more styles than I sspro but I wanted them to match my factory gauges and they do perfectly. For the best price on Isspro units go to
www.kensperformancesolutions.com
tell Ken you want the "Kevin Special" under $300 for everything delivered to your door, I mean every wire, connector, everything you will need with step by step directions.

I like the DiPricol Optix Gauges I think that the look the best Day and Night and they work great.I have had AM before and didn't really like them I looked at the ISSPRO gauges before I bought my DiPricol's and I just didn't like the way the ISSPRO's looked and I would have had to upgrade to LED's.

Speaking of LEDs ,,, what number bulb do I need to put them in my AM gauges?? ANYONE know for sure? (that would be the ONLY complaint I have about my AM,, they are not "Back lighted" but light around the face edge, without the green "Condom" on the bulb, it is a whiter light, and not to my liking. with the condom it is too dim... my others were WHITE faced, and I didn't notice this problem, these are darker, (Carbon fiber faced) sooo LED may be in order.

Thanks in advance!

I have Autometer Ultra lites. I have had good luck with them. I ran the AM SportComps before these with no problems as well. I would still be running the sport Comps, but they didnt offer a 60 lb boost gauge.

Jim, Dennis at ITP has some nice green LED bulbs for the AM stuff. They work great. I just ordered another one for my new fuel pressure gauge as a matter of fact. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I forgot the bulb number 922 911 maybe I'd pull one and see... but I do remember that the bulbs that came with them are not nearly as bright as the ones you get in the store if you replace one replace all of them. it will make a big difference.

Where are the spy photos on the new Isspro system. I have seen a shot of the HPOP gauge face but would like to see a little more.
