Is mobil multi purpose atf ok to use in a 4r100 trans

I know that's what would be ideal but I have 55 gallons of Mobil multi purpose sitting here and want to know if that's ok to use more than anything I want to pull pan and check condition of trans and use this to flush and refill and not waste any money if it looks like I need a new trans and just refill with this to get me by until I can save enough money for a new tranny

Mobil says it is for use where MERCON is specified. It's probably OK, but Ford doesn't license the manufacture of MERCON any longer. They literally could put ANYTHING in the bottle.

Ford also still specifies gold coolant in the 6.0 and it is a known fact it doesn't play well with the egr cooler.
But ford only makes/labels one type of coolant for all it's vehicles so you get stuck with what they sell.
