I'm wondering if anyone can help me I know My transmission has issues but I'm having trouble figuring out why the issue is. To my knowledge the fluid wasn't ever changed until I did it last month at 131k and soon after I installed my ts chip this started happening. So what happens is on a hard doiwnshift like if I get on the throttle hard or downshift while going up a steep hill it will make a Grindy kind of noise I don't know if it will stop by itself because it scares me and I let off and it goes away it usually happens about half a second after it downshifts. This is very annoying not knowing what the problem is if anyone has any ideas please tell me any help is greatly appreciated.

Will it do it if you remove the TS chip?

No but that's only because it doesn't shift as hard stock I'm sure I could get it to do it if I really went hard on it but either way the chip shouldn't cause that with a healthy transmission

Generic ts tunes are very hard on the trans.

Get it reburned with better tunes.

I'm not worried about fixing it at the moment I just Want to know what the issue is so I can try to make the transmission last Because I want to get it built asap I think it's the clutches but I'm not sure

yea I know the ts tunes are hard on the transmission and it hasn't been kept up very well so I try to keep stress low and rarely use the 140 hp tune I would take off the chip but I like the way it drives and I can keep it from downshifting hard but the only thing I can think is the clutches are slipping but when it happens the rpms don't really rise that much so I'm not sure
