I put mine in the intercooler tube. Right in the plastic. Drilled and tapped the plastic. My theory was that this would be a rather cheap replacement, rather than the metal elbow as many people have done. I didn't put it in the map sensor hose as I had heard that several people would get a vibrating needle. My gauage even had a disclaimer in the package about this.
Autometer Boost Gauge Help
The gauge came with a T fitting that is 3/16 by 1/4. The rubber hose the leads to the MAP sensor is 1/4" so the T won't work.Should I call Autometer for another T or is there another way to install this? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif
