i was backing into my driveway tonight when i lost my throttle. i can only assume its the go pedal(what else is there), not to mention i have a 01 with the single plug so i can't take it appart, and its thrusday night on memorial weekend(can't get a part until tuesday) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif

has anyone else had a problem with this? i can't believe this thing just up and quit all at once /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

and does anyone know if the plug would be the same as a international? i might be able to borrow one off of a school bus

I just had a similiar problem, it would start OK but had no throttle control. With this condition my dash lights would not come on either. No lights on dash board between Key on and Wait To Start. I was out in the middle of no-where and removed all fuses inside under steering column, cleaned the contacts and put them back in.

That fixed my problem, it fired right up, throttle worked and I haven't had any problems since.

I should have checked to see which fuse was not making contact but didn't.
