Hey Guys, I have a 1991 F-250 5.0 v8 and lately, I've noticed a scraping sound from the rear axel near both wheels. I pulled and replaced the breaks but it wasn't that. I'm wondering if it might be the wheel bearings and just wanted to ask around to see. Thanks

It's easy to find out. Jack up a wheel and rotate it and listen for the sound. Also the wheel needs to be solid on the truck. if you can move the wheel by shaking it than you need wheel bearings.

Yes, it might be the wheel bearings.

...or any of a dozen other parts. If you can't pinpoint it, pay someone who can. It'll cost you less time & money. It might be branch pushing a heat shield against the driveshaft.
