I bought a set of ball joints and received them today. I won't be able to put them in my truck till next week but when I received them, 1 was slanted while the other was straight.

I could not move it straight.. it is stuck in its slanted position.

I called the vendor and they assured me this is normal... I really don't think it is... am I wrong ?

Again, I won't be able to install it till next week but would rather address it now and if need be, order a new on ASAP.

Its not bent. Ball joints are extremely stiff when new. Its rotated a bit off center, but once you get it installed it will straighten itself out.

What Chuckster said. But it looks like it might be rotated enough that it would interfere with the ball joint press. If you have a vice, clamp it in place and use a pair of water pump pliers to center it up, holding on to the nut. With a little leverage, you should be able to straighten it up.
