can i add the ats housing to mu current setup? i have the banks exhaust housing and wicked wheel? will there be any douwn fall to doing this? please help with any info i would appreciate

the ats housing and wicked wheel do similar things. you may be better with an ats housing and a stock wheel.. there was another post on a similar setup . and I think that was the answer.

Like I said else where, your just adding more money to a turbo only rated for 25#'s... Save a little more money and get a drop in replacement...

well im still getting a little surge flutter whatever when towing 12000 lbs at certain speeds and conditions. anyway with the tn turbo does it hurt the engine running higher boost ive alway kept this 25 and under.

Nope, Your "safe" to 40# on the stock head bolts... I say "safe" because someone will be on here shortly saying they blew there headgaskets at 29 or some crap... But stock sticks, you will not see much over 30 anyway...

well csi im going to wait and get the tn model after reading your turbo problems. anyway can you recomend which one i should get? can i get one with difffernt shrouds that will work best with stock injectors and my dp tunes 20 tow 40 tow 60 tow 80 econo

I would go with the .84 housing at your elevation... MT right?

Dont get me wrong. I was happy with the stock turbo and ATS/WW/1.00 housing. But its still a stock turbo with a bunch more money in it...

u seem to drive alot, was the ats ww combo way to noisy for you on your trips? i like the whistle my self but how much louder was it?

Sorry... I though I posted LOL

THe WW/ATS/1.00 set up was LOUD! LOUDER then the BB turbo...

The .84 housing will spool quicker on the TN turbo but still lower the EGT's and drive pressures.

Does adding a ATS housing alone cause an increase in noise/whistle? I have not installed mine yet, just curious.
