I am purchasing a banks sidewinder kit in about a month and am also purchasing a stainless 4" magnaflow exhaust system from my local shop. So, would anyone be interested in the brand new exhaust that I will have left from the sidewinder kit? Thanks.

JC,
Second thought, I'd better not (it would only be a replacement for a good system). First I'm going for a Ken's Turbo cal pump and upgraded injectors. Watch out for the Banks exhaust. When I removed and bought a replacement the outlet side of the muffler was only 2.5". I returned it for a 3". Looks like we got the same truck.

Which Sidewinder system? Old or new? Does the down pipe have a flange that bolts to the turbo or does it use the band type clamp? like the newer turbo set ups?

Its the new but I am keeping the downpipe. I didnt know if anyone wanted it for a downpipe back or a y pipe back.

I would consider but the problem for you is its going to probably be expensive and you might be paying more then one from your local shop because of shipping. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

What exactly are you going to be selling, everything behind the downpipe? What size pipe is it? Where are you at?

Yes, I am going to keep the down pipe as I need it for the new exhaust to connect to so it will be everything behind the downpipe. You can use it to connect off your Y-pipe or your existing downpipe if you have a turbo. The pipe is 3.5" I believe (correct me if im wrong)or its a 3" with a 3.5" tailpipe, the Banks web site says constant diamter monster exhaust and then says it is a streamline exhuast with 3.5" tailpipe so im not sure. It also comes with a 4" polished tip. Im in New Hampshire. Thanks

The Banks system is 3" all the way from the DP to the muffler and then 3.5 out to the the tip, then a shiny 4" SS tip. Not a bad exhaust, but I thought the muffler was very restrictive. Took mine whole deal off and ran 4" all the way from the DP to the tip and added a cool Magnaflow 5" SS tip. Scotty
